VARIATIONS IN PHENOLIC, SUGAR AND PROTEIN CONTENTS IN LEAF GALLS OF FICUS SPECIES | BIONATURE
The amounts of phenol, sugar, and protein in healthy and leaf galls of three Ficus species, F. religiosa, F. glomerata, and F. infectoria, were quantified. While the amount of phenol and protein in leaf galls decreased, the amount of total sugars increased.
