Use of Grey Numbers and Soft Sets as Assessment Tools | Asian Journal of Pure and Applied Mathematic

Traditional evaluation methods are ineffective when assessing under ambiguous settings, for as when employing language grades or phrases. The approach employing grey numbers as tools appears to be the most suited for application among a range of methods for assessment under fuzzy settings proposed by the current author in previous works. However, we have created a method for parametric evaluation that uses soft sets. In this study, the differences, advantages, and downsides of these two approaches are examined.
