TONGUE PIGMENTATION AMONG THE DHANGARS OF MAHARASHTRA AND GEORGIANS OF GEORGIA, USSR | BIONATURE
The distribution of tongue pigmentation, an autosomal recessive trait, among the Dhangars of Maharashtra and Georgians of the Soviet Union is reported in this research. Surprisingly, the characteristic is completely missing among Georgians, while it shows a wide range of variance among Dhangars, ranging from 7.69 percent to 21.29 percent. According to the current evidence, the feature declines in the south-north direction in India and is maybe limited to tropical regions of the planet.
