The soil was artificially contaminated with lead nitrate (Pb(NO3)2) in three doses: 10, 20, and 50 ppm. The greatest concentration of Pb was 6.49 ug/g in 60 DAS root in LS (late sowing) at 50 ppm, while the minimum concentration was 0.05 ug/g in control in TS (timely sowing) in 60 DAS root. EDTA had a lower effect on plants at a younger stage (40 DAS) and was shown to be more effective in the leaf (5.73 ug/g) at 20 ppm in 60 DAS in LS.
