Simulation Modelling of the Addition of Servers in Queueing Systems | Asian Journal of Pure and Appl

The goal of the research was to look at how adding a server improved the operational characteristics of an M./M/1 queueing system as a function of the utilisation rate/. To investigate the impact of adding servers to queueing systems, the researchers used a simulation model for M/M/1 and M/M/2 systems with the same produced set of random inputs. Four suggested models were used to examine the improvement in system length L: ln(L) as linear and quadratic functions of /, and as linear and quadratic functions of ln(/). At / = 1 and / = 2, the Chow test was applied to look for structural fractures. .
