PHYTOPLANKTONIC FLORA OF NARMADA RIVER AT AMARKANTAK | BIONATURE

A phytoplanktonic survey of the Narmada river at its source in Amerkanatak, Madhya Pradesh was done for the first time. There were 68 kinds of planktonic algae found in all. There were 40 chlorophyceae species, 12 bacillariophyceae species, ten euglenophyceae species, and six cyanophyceae species.
