An overview of limbic encephalitis is provided through a case report, which represents a group of autoimmune and/or paraneoplastic conditions characterised by inflammation of the limbic system and other parts of the brain. Symptoms include recent memory, mood, behaviour, olfactory dysfunction, and seizures. It is intended to examine this condition in the differential diagnosis of disorders with other comparable symptoms.
