NEW RECORDS OF THE GENUS ULOTHRIX KUTZING FROM SINGHBHUM DISTRICT, BIHAR, INDIA | BIONATURE

The authors collected 9 taxa of the genus Ulothrix Kitzing while researching the Chlorophyta of Singhbhum District, Bihar, India. U. rorida Thuret is a new species for Bihar, and U. bipyrenoidosa fritsch at Rich is a new species for India. There's also a new variety of U. cylindricum prescott called U. cylindricum prescott var. epiphylon var. nov.
