On male albino rats, aqueous solutions of sodium salts of arsenic, molybdenum, and selenium were found to be poisonous. Breaks and gaps in chromosomes, as well as spindle inhibition, were produced in bone marrow cells, and DNA, RNA, and total protein content were reduced in the liver, kidney, lung, and brain.
