Marchiafava-Bignami Disease Caused by Chronic Alcohol use in a Young Patient: Case Report | Asian Jo

Marchiafava-Bignami illness is a rare neurological disorder characterised by demyelination and necrosis of the corpus callosum, which is frequently linked to prolonged alcoholism and starvation. We describe a 25-year-old female patient with chronic alcoholism who had visual hallucinations, flashes of light in her eyes, and impaired vision for the second time and was experiencing the same symptoms.
