LENGTH-WEIGHT RELATIONSHIP AND CONDITION FACTOR OF MACROBRACHIUM DAYANUM (HENDERSON) OF BETWA ......

The condition factor and length-weight relationship of 106 Macrobrachium dayanum from the Betwa River in Madhya Pradesh were determined. Log W = - 1.64647 + 2.51118 Log I was found to be the length-weight relationship, with standard errors of 0.1190779 and 0.0751746, respectively. The coefficient of correlation 'r' was discovered to be 0.9706691, indicating that the relationship between the prawn's length and weight was highly significant. The association between length and weight was similarly significant, according to the calculated t-test. K, the condition factor, was determined to have a mean value of 10.596.
