Impact of Effective IT Governance on Organizational Performance and Economic Growth in Canada | Asia
Information technology (IT) has become increasingly relevant for organisations in achieving their objectives over the last decade. Information technology governance (ITG) has recently become a key concern for many businesses across a wide range of industries. The aim of this research is to look into the impact of information technology governance on business success and economic growth in Canada. The developed hypotheses arising from the theoretical context of the analysis will be tested using structural equation modelling (SEM).Data will be collected from managers in the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) sector, with samples drawn from eight Canadian provinces (British Colombia, Ontario, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island). This research subject is extremely important in Canada; one of the study's major contributions is the creation of a theoretically based model that incorporates efficient information technology governance, organisational efficiency, and Canada's economic growth.Effective IT governance could boost organisation efficiency, resulting in a positive impact on Canadian economic development, when considering the impact of effective IT governance and organisational performance in the Canadian Information and Communications Technology field.
