HUMAN Y CHROMOSOME LENGTH VARIATIONS: A COMPARATIVE STUDY WITH GENETIC DISTANCE BETWEEN DIFFERENT...
The inter-cellular repeatability within people is substantially larger than the family correlations of human Y chromosome length, according to evidence from the literature. This supports the theory that the length of the Y chromosome is determined by genetics. Despite the fact that there is a significant degree of Y length polymorphism variation across human racial groupings, population clustering based on Y chromosome length does not always correspond to the degree of genetic divergence between populations. The ramifications of these findings for evolutionary investigations employing Y chromosome length polymorphism are also highlighted.
