GERMINATION OF FERN SPORES UNDER VARIABLE TEMPERATURE AND RED LIGHT | BIONATURE
In Rajasthan, the effect of temperature and red light interaction on spore germination of Ceratopteris thalictroides (L) Brong, Pteris vittata Linn, and Tectaria codonata(Fee) C.Chr. It has been discovered that increasing the temperature up to a certain point reduces the amount of red light required for spore germination in these ferns. In comparison to the values reported at 25°C, spore germination was found to be greater at 30°C.
