GENETIC DISTANCE AMONG FOUR COMMUNITIES AS BASED UPON ABO, Rh AND SECRETOR FACTOR | BIONATURE
The current study involved 600 people of both sexes from four endogamous castes in Patiala, namely the Baniya, Brahmin, Khatri, and Arora. In all four castes, a tendency of B>A>O>AB has been noted, with the exception of Brahmins, who have a trend of B>A>AB>O. In the castes studied, the prevalence of Rh-ves ranges from 1.33 percent to 5.33 percent. In the four castes, sectors have more power than non-secretors. The chi-square values show considerable disparities between Brahmins and Khatris, as well as between Brahmins and Aroras, whereas the chi-square values show minor differences across other caste group combinations. The genetical distance between different caste combinations ranges from 0.546 to 0.582. Please see the link :- https://globalpresshub.com/index.php/BN/article/view/70
