Generalized Ernst Numbers | Asian Journal of Pure and Applied Mathematics

The generalised Ernst sequences are defined and investigated in this study, as well as two particular examples, Ernst and Ernst-Lucas sequences. For these sequences, we offer Binet's formulae, generating functions, Simson formulas, and summation formulas. We also provide additional identities and matrices for these sequences. Furthermore, we show that Ernst and Ernst-Lucas numbers are closely related to Jacobsthal and Jacobsthal-Lucas numbers.
