Flexible Work Arrangement and Employees’ Performance during COVID-19 Era in Selected Micro-Finance B

Flexible Work Arrangements and Employee Performance at Selected Micro-Finance Banks in Enugu State were investigated in this study. Two objectives led the research, which were created in accordance with the research questions and hypotheses. The research looked at 140 employees from the ten microfinance institutions that were chosen, with a sample size of 104. Data was primarily collected using a five-point likert scale questionnaire titled Flexible Work Arrangement and Employees' Performance Questionnaire (FWA&EPQ) after it had been subjected to a validity and reliability check, and data analysis was carried out using Simple Regression with the help of the 23.0 version of the statistical package for social sciences (SPSS) The increased desire for a work procedure that allows more time and freedom to address developing public health challenges. Employees have made reconsidering established work processes necessary. As a result, this study suggests that, in the current social climate, flexible work arrangements are the preferable alternative for improving employee performance. The researchers issued the following suggestions based on their results and conclusions: Flexible work arrangements are vital in improving employee performance, and task sharing is important in increasing employee efficiency by decreasing, if not eliminating, job-overload, which can contribute to stress and inefficiency; hence, it should be implemented by firms.
