EFFECT OF ZING TOXICITY ON SOYBEAN | BIONATURE

The goal of this study was to see how zinc acetate toxicity affected soybean plants from three different types, KAL/T4R, BRAGG, and PK 472, in a lab setting. For 24, 48, and 72 hours, the response of soybean plants of each variety to varied amounts of zinc acetate was monitored intermittently. It was compared to a control of deionized water at the same time. The fresh weight, dry mater accumulation, root length, shoot length, chlorophyll and carotenoid contents of zinc acetate-treated plants were all reduced after characterization and quantification. Similarly, greater concentrations of zinc acetate treated soybean seedlings reduced carbohydrate and protein content significantly. Instead of var. KAL / T4R, PK 472 and BRAGG exhibited higher reduction.
