EFFECT OF PLANT GROWTH REGULATORS ON GROWTH AND YIELD OF WHEAT AND GROUNDNUT | BIONATURE

The usage of morphactins (methyl and butyl) and ethephon significantly lowered the biology and grain yield of wheat viable tillers. Grain yield is reduced as the number of spikes, length of spikes, seeds per spike, and 100 grain weight are reduced. In groundnut, however, the compounds increased the number of branches, biological yield, number of pods per plant, and pod yield.
