EFFECT OF GIBBERELLIC ACID (GA3) ON SEED YIELD COMPONENTS IN FORAGE SORGHUM CV. JAWAHAR CHARI-6 ....

Treatments with varied concentrations of GA3, 0, 10, 25, and 50 ppm were tested in the field using two ways of application: presowing seed treatment and foliar spray during the early seedling, primordial initiation, and spikelet differentiation stages. The treatments were set up in a replicated randomised block pattern. The application of gibberellic acid resulted in higher seed yield features as a result of characterization and measurement of certain seed yield components (GA3).
