Diagnosis and Management of Primary Tracheobronchial Non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL): A Rare Case | Asian
Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma (NHL) of the tracheobronchial system is an uncommon malignancy with just a few occurrences recorded in the medical literature. Endobronchial masses and/or mucosal infiltration, as well as lymphadenopathy, are common symptoms of these malignancies. Asthma or chronic obstructive lung disease are frequently misdiagnosed. When the central airway is involved, it can lead to respiratory failure, making therapy difficult and resulting in a bad prognosis. For a definite diagnosis, histopathological investigation is frequently required. These cancers have piqued people's curiosity because of the difficulty in diagnosing and treating them early. We present a case of primary tracheobronchial NHL and the complications that occurred after treatment. This instance demonstrates that in patients with central airway obstruction, NHL should be regarded as a differential diagnosis.
