CYTOGENETIC INVESTIGATIONS ON 100 COUPLES WITH RECURRENT FOETAL WASTAGE | BIONATURE

A study of 100 couples with recurrent foetal wasting was conducted to determine the incidence of chromosomal abnormalities. G-banding was used to identify the chromosomal preparations, which were prepared from peripheral blood cells. In five of the total people evaluated, chromosomal abnormalities were discovered. Three translocations [46, XY, t (1; 2) (q32; q21);46, XX, t (3; 11) (qter; q23);45, XX, t (14q; 22q)] and two mosaic aneuploides (46, XXI45, XO; 46, XXI45 o) were among the anomalies.
