Conducting Quality Assurance in Educational Games at Kindergartens and Nurseries | Asian Journal of

It is critical to do quality assurance while employing instructional games in kindergartens and nurseries.

However, there have been a limited number of studies on the pursuit of quality assurance for educational video games. This study intends to uncover key elements in conducting quality assurance during the curriculum building process through educational games.

The study is organised into four components, each of which corresponds to one of the study's goals: (1) The procedures for establishing and maintaining quality control during the curriculum creation process. (2) A method for evaluating a course or an instructor (3) evaluating student growth and performance (4) Using feedback to change or improve the materials and structure of the course.

This study looks into the motivational and cognitive impacts of educational games in the context of teaching children and enhancing their learning levels, as well as how to conduct quality assurance during the curriculum building process using educational games.

The research plan was divided into two stages in an environment with 239 teachers for students aged four to six years in nursery school and the first year of primary school, and a comparison was made between their pre and post achievement, taking into account that all surrounding conditions in the two stages are equal, as the students in the first stage did not receive any educational support with digital educational games. Then, in the post-stage, pupils were assisted with educational games through the use of a teaching system based on digital educational games. The findings revealed that game-based learning differs from the traditional approach in terms of cognitive and motivational impacts in the post-stage, and that educational games have a greater impact on motivational and cognitive effects than the traditional conditions.
