CHROMOSOMAL ALTERATIONS IN RECURRENT ABORTIONS | BIONATURE

Following leucocyte culture, a chromosomal assessment of 14 couples with previous histories of habitual abortions or congenitally deformed kids revealed a 35.7 percent incidence of cells with breaks or pieces. Hypermodal cells were found in significantly larger numbers (P 0-001) than in normal populations. Normal controls had no hypomodal cells, whereas 5:50 percent of chronic aborters had them.
