Carcinosarcoma of Left Maxillary Sinus Case Report – An Unexpected Case | Asian Journal of Medical C

Carcinosarcoma is a malignant tumour made up of epithelial and mesenchymal parts that can develop anywhere in the body, including the skin, lungs, oesophagus, colon, uterus, ovaries, and head and neck area. However, just a few instances involving the paranasal sinuses have been recorded. The maxillary sinus carcinosarcoma is an extremely uncommon and severe tumour. Symptoms differ from person to person. The nose and face region are the most prevalent sites of presentation. An rare case of carcinosarcoma of the left maxillary sinus in an old lady with left nasal obstruction, rhinorrhea, and nasal edoema is presented. A multimodality therapy strategy is indicated in this case.
