Acute Disseminated Encephalomyelitis Due to Covid-19 Infection: A Case Report | Asian Journal of Med
Acute Disseminated Encephalomyelitis (ADEM) affects persons of all ages, however it is more frequent in youngsters. The neurological side effects of Covid-19 infection have varied as the prevalence of infection problems has increased. Although the most prevalent neurological adverse effects include headache, stroke, and encephalitis, demyelinating illnesses have been documented seldom. In this case report, we present a case of ADEM caused by Covid-19 infection that presented to our clinic with vision loss in both eyes following upper respiratory tract symptoms that began 15 days ago and lasted 3-4 days.
