A Study on Work Stress Management among Employees in a Spinning Mill in Kerala | Asian Journal of ..

"A research on work stress management among the employees of a spinning mill in Kerala," according to the title of this article. The study's goals were to determine the stress levels of employees in cooperative industries, the causes of stress, the influence of stress on employee productivity, and how to deal with stress at work. The goal of the hypothesis was to discover and comprehend the relationship between stress and a variety of other elements such as age, gender, organisational policies, and so on.

A systematic questionnaire was used to collect primary data, while secondary data was gathered from previous research articles, journals, and other sources. For analysing and interpreting data relevant to multiple dimensions of employees, simple data analysis techniques such as ANOVA, correlation, and chi-square are used. Simple statistical data, such as percentages, were analysed, and the results were visualised using diagrams. It was discovered that the majority of the workers in this business were stressed out, that job uncertainty and work pressure were some of the main causes of stress, that stress reduces employee productivity, and that the majority of the employees deal with stress with the help of their families. After careful consideration, a few recommendations were made, including the implementation of stress-relieving programmes, increased retirement benefits, improved labour facilities, and the implementation of counselling and grievance-handling services.
