During a pandemic, people are transitioning to a forced learning behaviour of social distance, masking, and sanitising, which is frequently abbreviated as SMS. This article focuses on the shift in customer purchasing behaviour during COVID-19 and the problems that may face future retail sectors. The majority of customers are concerned about the pandemic scenario, according to the report, and their preference for online transactions has grown. During the epidemic, demand for unorganised merchants such as local shops, kiranas, and online retailers surged significantly, whilst demand for organised retailers fell.
