Abstracts
A four-hour contact treatment of 25 mg 1-Allyl-4, 4, 6-Trimethyl-1H, 4H-Pyrimidine2-Thiol (ATPT) dissolved in 5 ml acetone cause severe pathological damages in the ovarian tissue of Dysdercus koenigii. In the germarium, trophocytes, trophic core, prefolicular tissue and the oogonia undergo disintegration followed by similar changes in the vitellarium where, however, the effect is differential, as mature oocytes occupying its basal portion remain unaffected.
